The successful candidate will be responsible for generating ATE test programs to test FPGA & CPLD products. ATE test program generation includes new test pattern conversion/inclusion, constructing or enhancing test methods, and integration of timings/levels and test flow into a test program. Candidate will be working with product engineers in debugging and resolving Wafer Sort and Final Test production sustaining issues such as low yield excursion, quality improvements and test set-up optimization etc., Candidate will be responsible for enabling test cost reduction projects such as Test Time Reduction, ATE platform migration, multi-site developments, Yield Improvement and test code optimization etc.,. Candidate will be responsible for working with production and product engineers in continuous operational efficiency improvement initiatives and roll-out the new solution to production by working with global test engineering teams.


The successful incumbent should be/possess the following attributes:
 
  •  A Bachelor or Master Degree in Electronics Engineering with 5 or more years of ATE test program modification experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the following ATE platforms are essential: Advantest T2000, Verigy93000 and Teradyne J750/Flex
  • Complete understanding of semiconductor Test methodology
  • Other pre-requisites include excellent debugging and root cause analysis skills and as well as good programming and scripting skill in Visual Basic, C/C++, Perl and Linux/Unix Shell.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
